Do I need to have an appointment to try on dresses?
Yes, we prefer that you make an appointment so we can ensure that one of our consultants is available to assist you. An appointment will also guarantee you a private fitting room and seating for your guests. To make an appointment, please visit our appointment page or call us at 732-780-7777.
Can I tip my bridal consultant?
While tips are never expected, they are very much appreciated for outstanding service by our bridal consultants!
How long do wedding dresses take to come in after they are ordered?
It takes approximately six to eight months for a dress to arrive, so please take that into consideration when scheduling your appointment. Once the dress arrives, you should allow two to three months for alterations. Ideally, we recommend beginning the wedding dress shopping process nine months to one year prior to your wedding date so you can avoid rush shipping fees and enjoy the experience! If you are unsure if you will be able to order a gown through our store due to a shorter engagement, we invite you to give us a call, so we can talk through some of our various rush-shipping options in more detail.
How long does Mother of the Bride/Groom and Bridesmaid dresses take to come in after they are ordered?
It takes approximately three to five months for both Mother of the Bride/Groom and Bridesmaid dresses to arrive. Please keep this in mind when planning and making appointments.

For Bridal, we carry: Essense of Australia, Maggie Sottero, Martina Liana, Sottero & Midgley, Enzoani, and Stella York.
For Bridesmaid, we carry: B2, Belsoie, Bill Levkoff, Hayley Paige, and Sorella Vita.
For Mother of the Bride/Groom, we carry: Cameron Blake, Ivonne D, Jade, Jade Couture, Jovani, Marsoni, MGNY, Montage by Mon Cheri, Rina Di Montella, and Terani Couture.
For Flower Girl, we carry: Joan Calabrese and Rosebuds.
How long do bridal appointments last?
Each bridal appointment is 90 minutes long. This allows you enough time to browse through our wedding dresses with your consultant, try on several gowns, narrow down your selection and say YES to your dress! We never want you to feel rushed, which is why we’ve allocated a full hour and a half for your appointment.
How long do Mother of the Bride/Groom and Bridesmaid appointments last?
Both appointments last a total of 60 minutes. This time frame allows your consultant to help you find the perfect dress!
How do I pay for my dress?
We do require either a 75% deposit or a full payment when placing an order for a dress. We accept the following credit cards: Visa, Amex, Discover, and MasterCard.
Can I cancel, return, or exchange my dress?
Please note that all sales are final. Once the dress has been ordered, no changes can be made.
Do you offer in-house alterations?
There are third-party seamstresses available to our customers who work out of our store. Alterations service is separate from Hearts For You.
